Astrid Pechmann has been awarded the 2nd Felix Jerusalem Prize for her clinical research on Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The Felix Jerusalem Prize is awarded by the German Society for Muscle Diseases and is intended to promote research in the field of neuromuscular diseases in the German-speaking world. The Prize recognizes the achievements of young researchers whose work on the pathogenic mechanisms of neuromuscular diseases and on evidence-based therapy for these diseases has been particularly outstanding.
