The KJK Research Day 2025 took place on Friday, February 7th, 2025 in our new Kinderklinik in Freiburg. The scientific event consisted of four sessions with scientific talks selected from all submitted abstracts, two keynote lectures, two poster sessions, and a talk on funding opportunities. The Key Note Lecture “From Genomes to Function – Leveraging Genetic Screens to Decode Oncogenic Mechanisms” by Dr. Christian Braun from Munich was a true highlight of the event. Side events such as short poster teaser talks and “Meet the PI” opportunities, in which research group leaders were available for questions, also contributed to the success of the event.
