Researchers at the Freiburg Center for Pediatrics have access to a range of core facilities and infrastructure to support their work. Key elements include our Pediatric Clinical Trials Unit, the Hilda Biobank for Children, the metabolomics core facility MetaboCF and a range of Advanced Diagnostic Units.
Individual research areas also have access to other core facilities, for example, age-specific mouse models and zebrafish models and, in collaboration with the Institute for Transfusion Medicine and Gene Therapy, facilities for genome editing and generation of induced pluripotent stem cells (Freiburg iPS Core).
