Ms. Sophia Galle was awarded the Helmut Wolf Prize on the occasion of the 44th Annual Meeting of the Society for Tropical Paediatrics and International Child Health (GTP). The prize, endowed with 500 euros, was granted to Ms. Galle for her poster presentation of her outstanding scientific work on the “Implementation and Promotion of Adherence in Tuberculosis Therapy for Children, Adolescents, and Young Adults in Germany.” Ms. Galle is pursuing her doctorate in paediatric migration medicine (Dr. Benedikt Spielberger, Prof. Markus Hufnagel) with guidance from the Healthcare Research Working Group (Prof. Thorsten Langer, Jana Willems) and works as a resident physician at the Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine in Freiburg.
