DESCRIPTION:The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) offers funding opportunities for scientists of all career stages between doctorate and professorship. This online talk series provides information for postdocs to get to know the DFG and its funding portfolio. \n\n\n\nThe next upcoming talk within the “Prospects” series is on ‘DFG Funding Opportunities for Postdocs’ (in English). In this talk\, first-hand information e.g. about the DFG\, the goals of the different funding programs for postdocs and their eligibility requirements\, and the type\, extent and duration of the funding will be presented. Representatives from the DFG will also explain how the DFG comes to a funding decision and provide advice on preparing a proposal.
