SUMMARY:Baden-Württemberg Stiftung - Call for Innovative Model Projects
DESCRIPTION:The Baden-Württemberg Stiftung calls for innovative model projects as a part of its program “Strengthening Children – Promoting Families” (Kinder stärken – Familien fördern). These projects promote the participation in social and cultural life of children and young people who stand at risk of poverty or are living in poverty\, thus supporting them in discovering and developing their own talents and strengths. One should keep in mind that the definition for “risk of poverty” is not limited to financial circumstances only\, but also entails circumstances of limited development opportunities\, such as living in families accompanied with\, for example\, an addiction\, mental or chronic illness\, a handicap of at least one parent. \n\n\n\nFor more information please visit the call for proposals.

The prize calls for researchers who hold a doctorate and work at a German research institution or for teams with a maximum of four researchers. The prize is worth up to €80\,000 and is to be used for projects that benefit animal welfare in research. In addition to funding research projects\, the prize money can be used to finance complementary measures such as training and professional development for researchers who work with animals or scientific events to promote the idea of animal welfare in research. \n\n\n\nApplication forms can be viewed and submitted between 2 October and  5 November 2023 via the DFG’s elan portal under “Proposal Submission – Nominations – Ursula M.
