SUMMARY:Faculty of Medicine: Call for Medical Scientist applications
DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Medicine is calling for applications for the second round of its Medical Scientist funding programme.  \n\n\n\nThe Medical Scientist Programme of the Faculty of Medicine offers young outstanding postdocs without clinical duties opportunities to establish themselves as independent scientists. The programme aims to further develop a continuous and structured career path for scientists within Freiburg’s University Medicine. \n\n\n\nEligible are excellent doctorate-holding researchers without responsibilities in patient care and not pursuing fellowship training in a clinical discipline (Medical Scientists) in their first postdoctoral career phase who are affiliated with Freiburg’s University Medicine.  \n\n\n\nThe focus is on promoting Medical Scientists from the medical-theoretical institutes (preclinical)\, the clinical-theoretical institutes as well as the specialist clinics of the Faculty of Medicine.  \n\n\n\nMore information is avaliable here; the deadline is 12:00 (noon) on 13 September 2021.
