SUMMARY:Bench and Bed Immunology 2020: Immunotherapies and targeted therapies in autoimmune/inflammatory diseases (Strasbourg)
DESCRIPTION:The Bench and Bed Immunology (BBI) Seminar is dedicated to Master and PhD students and post-doctoral students from the Faculty of Biology\, the Faculty of Medicine\, Pharmacy\, and Dentistry\, including students in double cursus (medical/clinical students or residents in training). \n\n\n\nBBI bridges the gap between basic immunological research and clinical immunology focusing on immunopathology of diseases and their treatments. The BBI is based on the cross-border support by the Franco-German University (UFA). It is organized and held by basic researchers in Immunology and clinician scientists from Strasbourg\, Freiburg\, Mainz\, Heidelberg and Basel. \n\n\n\nThe focus of BBI 2020 will be “Targeted therapies in autoimmune/inflammatory diseases” (5th-6th March\, 2020\, in Strasbourg). The language of the talks will be English. There will be seminars given by great french or german speakers\, describing targets and new therapies. \n\n\n\nEvery participating student is invited to prepare a short talk about his/her work or describing a published manuscript. The seminar is free for students (transport\, accommodation and meals)\, provided that they actively participate to the seminar with an oral presentation or the presentation of a poster. Participation to BBI allows the validation of doctoral credits for those who are concerned. \n\n\n\nGet more information\, registration info and the program here: https://www.urigroup.eu/upcoming-events/bbi-2020/program/
