DESCRIPTION:The EU Offices of the Office of the Dean of Research of the Faculty of Medicine and of the University of Freiburg invite scientists interested in applying for ERC grants to an event on 17 July 2026 at 9:00 am. Two upcoming ERC grants\, the ERC Starting Grant 2027 and the ERC Consolidator Grant 2027 have been recently announced with tentative deadlines in January 2027. The ERC Starting Grant aims to support early-career scientists who have obtained their PhD not longer than ten years before January 2027. The ERC Consolidator Grant will be supporting scientists at a stage in their career where they still consolidate their independent research teams.
