DESCRIPTION:The Friedmund Neumann Prize  of the Schering Stiftung goes to young scientists for outstanding basic research in human biology\, organic chemistry or human medicine. Young scientists who have completed their dissertation and have already developed a distinctive scientific profile are all eligible to apply for this prize. The award has an aim to help candidates who win the award to get the chance to make their outstanding scientific achievements visible and to establish themselves in their field of research. SUMMARY:EMBO: Postdoctoral Fellowships
DESCRIPTION:EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships support excellent postdoctoral researchers throughout Europe and the world for a period of up to two years. International mobility is a key requirement. The fellowship includes a salary or stipend\, a relocation allowance and support for fellows with children. Awardees can attend an EMBO Laboratory Leadership course and become part of the global network of EMBO Fellows. Research proposals must be within EMBO’s scientific scope. There are no application deadlines for EMBO Postdoctoral Fellowships\, but there are two cut-off evaluation dates: the second Friday of February\, 2 PM CET and the second Friday of August\, 2 PM CEST.
