The “Declaration for participants in courses and events” will be available for download upon registration for the event.\n\n\n\nDescription:  \n\n\n\nThe Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize\, which is endowed with up to EUR 2.5 million\, is the most important research award in Germany and is awarded annually by the DFG. Prof. Marco Prinz has been awarded the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize 2020 for his outstanding work in the field of neuroimmunology. In this Round Table Discussion Prof. Prinz is going to talk about the success factors for his research career and what circumstances are important to be able to carry out cutting edge research. \n\n\n\nProf. Leena Bruckner-Tuderman\, former Vice-President of the DFG\, will talk about framework conditions which are essential to conduct excellent research in the medical field. As previous chairperson of the Permanent Senate Commission on Key Questions in Clinical Research\, she played a key role in the development of basic recommendations in this field. \n\n\n\nPlease note that the round table discussion will be organized as an on-site event provided that the current Covid-19 situation permits.
